One of my happiest times of the week is when Diana and I drive to church. We go down a bumpy dirt road for about 40 minutes and we pass lots of people walking. When we see children we stop, roll down a window and give them a car. This little girl was shy at first but her face lit up when I handed her the car. It is such a fun thing to do. The parents get as excited as the children. They thank us many times over.
Sometimes, the office looks like this. Sometimes it's even busier. I really enjoy those times.
This is President Sebatia. He helps keep up with all of the registrations required for our cars and deals with the police when they stop our missionaries, young and old. Sometimes the stops are justified, but most times not. He is an amazing man. At the age of 12, he started attending church and wanted to be baptized. His parents would not let him and physically abused him because he kept going to church. He was baptized at 14, served a mission and, like many of our young returned missionaries, was called as a Branch President (or Bishop) soon after returning home and is now a counselor in one of the Stake Presidencies in the mission. I love to talk to him when he comes into the office.

Leo and Leon are twins from Zimbabwe. I can't remember their last name. They will be with us for a month before going to MTC in Phillipines where they will serve in two different missions in that country. When new missionaries arrive, I do their intake in the office. I love getting to meet all of the new missionaries when they arrive.
When senior missionaries are away from their own grandchildren, they enjoy others' children.
This is Sister Davis, our Mission President's wife. They are wonderful people and I love them both. She pushed Pearl on the swing for about an hour.
We like to socialise. Diana and I hosted Family Home Evening at our house on Monday. She loves to entertain. She did the food, I did the lesson.
One of the missionary couples had family visiting so we had a braai (barbecue) at Reeve's house. She is taking the picture. She does more than you can ever imagine to help the missionaries and those in the Church and the community.
And sometimes, it's just nice to have some fun. Had to try out the bike before it got put on a truck to be taken to a missionary.
