Week 61

This is Ellen.  She is the Primary teacher for the younger children in the ward I am now attending.  She has never taught young children and was struggling with her lessons.  I went to her home this week and helped her prepare her lesson for the Sunday.  Oh WOW!!  She taught the children with love, enthusiasm and most importantly, the Spirit.  While at her humble home, she insisted that I eat before I left.  The sadza and greens were delicious.

Elder Silva, a General Authority Seventy, and his wife visited the mission for a few days this week.   They attended three Zone Conferences with about 1/3 of the missionaries in each conference.  On Friday,, they met with the senior missionaries at the Mission Home for dessert before leaving.  He held a Question and Answer session before leaving.  They were so warm and welcoming.  We loved having them with us.

One of the Zone Conferences with about 1/3 of the missionaries.

On Tuesday, I leave for Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park.  It will be a quick two day and 1 night trip but I am excited to see the Falls at their peak, water animals on a river ride and land animals on a game drive.  I should have lots of pictures to post next week.
